The Spot at Belmont Bay is a veteran-owned, scratch-made kitchen with a front-row seat to the marina — Northern Virginia's most flavorful waterfront destination.
Roots in Occoquan
The Spot was born on Mill Street in historic Occoquan — a veteran-owned dream built by Denise and David Ormsby with a conviction that the community deserves a place that actually cares. From day one, that meant cooking everything from scratch and showing up for neighbors the way good service members always do.
Finding Home at the Marina
Moving to Belmont Bay — right across from the marina on the Occoquan — felt less like a relocation and more like an arrival. The waterfront unlocked a whole new way to experience The Spot.
Everything Made From Scratch
Every brunch board, biscuit, and crab cake is made in-house with farm-to-table care. Pair that with NoVA's largest spirits selection and monthly wine dinners, and you'll understand why people keep coming back.
Dock & Dine on the Occoquan
Order from the full menu and eat aboard your pontoon on the water — that's Dock & Dine, and it's exactly as good as it sounds. Boaters pull straight up to Belmont Bay Harbor Marina and dine with a sunset view.
The Whole Community Shows Up
Trivia nights, live music, Bourbon & Cigar evenings, and private parties for up to 40 guests — The Spot is Belmont Bay's favorite gathering place. Recognized by Prince William Living, Fox5, Northern Virginia Magazine, and America's Best Restaurants.
